Percent and cents
to real odds
Novig shows prices as a percentage. Kalshi and Underdog's single team picks show cents. Enter the price and what you'll spend to see the payout, the fees and the sportsbook odds it matches.
Enter the price as a percentage (60%) or in cents (60¢ or 0.60). Everything is worked out in your browser. Nothing is saved or sent.
How it works
The price is also the market's guess at the chance: 60% (or 60¢) means about 6 times in 10. Your return is your stake divided by the price, so $100 at 60% returns about $166.

Questions
Why does Novig show percentages now?
Novig became a federally regulated exchange in 2026, and regulated exchanges quote contracts as prices between $0 and $1. Novig shows that price as a percentage: the market’s implied chance the outcome happens. 60% is the same as a 60¢ contract or about -150.
How do I work out the payout on a percentage?
Divide your stake by the percentage. $100 at 40% returns $250 ($150 profit). At 60% it returns $166.67. The lower the percentage, the bigger the payout.
How do Underdog’s single team picks work?
Underdog’s Prediction Picks are event contracts, not pick’em multipliers. Each contract costs its price (65¢ means about a 65% chance) plus an exchange fee, and pays $1 if you’re right. Underdog’s help center gives the example of 5 contracts at 70¢ plus a 2¢ fee each: $3.60 in, $5.00 back if it wins.
Do fees change the real odds?
Yes. Your break-even chance is the price plus the fee. A 50¢ contract with a 2¢ fee needs a 52% win rate, which is close to a -110 sportsbook line. Pre-game straight picks on Novig have no fee, so a 50% price there really is even money.
Can I sell before the game ends?
Usually, at whatever the market pays at that moment, which can be more or less than you paid. This calculator covers holding to the end.
