Why is my redemption stuck on pending?
Almost always one of four things: verification isn't finished, some coins haven't been played through, the name on the payment method doesn't match the account, or you're under the minimum. Ask support which one, and don't send a second request while the first is pending.
My bills are in someone else’s name. What do I send?
Ask support what else they take as proof of address. A bank statement in your name is the usual answer. When a site wants two documents and the bills aren't yours, a bank statement plus your vehicle registration is what we've used.
How long do Sweeps Coin redemptions take?
Gift cards are usually the fastest, often within a day or two. Bank transfers usually take a few business days, and some sites allow up to 10 or even 30 days in their rules. The first redemption takes longest because of the ID check.
Do I need to buy something before I can redeem?

Someone says I have to pay a fee to unlock my prize. Is that real?
No. Real sweepstakes casinos don't ask you to send money or buy coins to release a prize you already won. Stop, and contact the casino through its own website, not through a DM.
Can I pick which gift card I get?
Usually you choose from the catalog in the casino's cashier when you redeem. Brands differ by site and can change at any time, so check the list before you play toward a card.
Is 1 Sweeps Coin worth $1?
At most sites, yes: each redeemable Sweeps Coin counts as $1 toward a prize. Some sites use other coin names; the rules page says what one coin is worth.
Are Sweeps Coin prizes taxable?
Yes. Prizes, gift cards included, are taxable income in the US. Keep your own record of what you redeem, and check the site's tax notice for when it sends a 1099.
